Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, or creating an account on MovieHunt AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform. Your continued use of the service after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy, govern your use of MovieHunt AI.

MovieHunt AI is a hosting platform for user-generated content. We provide the infrastructure for users to upload, share, and discover AI-generated films. We do not create, commission, or editorially control the content submitted by users.

Users are solely responsible for the content they submit. The views, opinions, and creative choices expressed in user-submitted content do not represent those of MovieHunt AI.

Our voluntary efforts to moderate content — including reviewing submissions, enforcing community standards, or responding to reports — do not make us the publisher or speaker of any user-submitted content, and do not create an obligation to monitor all content on the platform.

You must be at least 16 years old to use MovieHunt AI. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If we learn that a user is under 16, we will promptly terminate their account and delete their data.

You may not use MovieHunt AI if you have been previously banned or had your account terminated for violating these terms.

You must create an account to submit films, vote, or comment on MovieHunt AI. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent.

MovieHunt AI is a platform for AI-generated cinema. You retain ownership of the content you create and submit to the platform, subject to the license granted in Section 6 below.

You acknowledge that AI-generated works may not qualify for copyright protection in all jurisdictions. The legal status of AI-generated content varies by country and is evolving rapidly. You assume all legal risk associated with claiming rights in AI-generated content, including any consequences arising from changes in law or regulation.

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to share the content on this platform.
• The content was created using AI tools in compliance with those tools' terms of service and applicable law.
• The content does not reproduce, depict, or include copyrighted characters, logos, trademarks, or other protected intellectual property belonging to third parties without authorization.
• The content is not a substantially similar copy or derivative work of any copyrighted film, scene, or audiovisual work.
• The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, rights of publicity, or other proprietary rights.

You agree to cooperate fully with MovieHunt AI in responding to any third-party claims related to your content. MovieHunt AI may remove or restrict access to your content at any time in response to valid legal claims, without liability to you.

By submitting content to MovieHunt AI, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote your content on and in connection with the platform. This includes the right to create thumbnails, previews, and promotional materials featuring your content.

The sublicense right is solely for the purpose of enabling our service providers and partners to operate the platform on our behalf, including content delivery, video transcoding, and display.

This license continues for a reasonable period after you remove your content or delete your account, to the extent necessary to serve cached or archived copies, fulfil legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Subject to this license, you retain all intellectual property rights in your submissions.

When using MovieHunt AI, you must not:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Submit content that reproduces copyrighted characters, scenes, or works belonging to third parties without authorization
• Submit content depicting real people (deepfakes) without their verifiable consent
• Submit sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content
• Submit content that sexualizes minors in any way (child sexual abuse material will be reported to law enforcement)
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Manipulate votes, rankings, or engagement metrics through fake accounts, automated tools, or coordinated inauthentic behavior
• Submit another person's work as your own
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the platform without our written permission
• Circumvent any content moderation, security, or access control measures
• Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to review, flag, restrict, or remove any content at our sole discretion, including content that violates these terms or that we consider inappropriate, misleading, or harmful to the community. We are not obligated to pre-screen content but may do so at any time. Voluntary moderation does not impose a general monitoring obligation on us.

Reporting content

If you believe content on MovieHunt AI is illegal or violates these terms, you may report it by contacting report@moviehunt.ai with the following information:

• An explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or violates our terms
• The URL or other clear identification of the content in question
• Your name and email address
• A statement that you submit the report in good faith and that the information provided is accurate

How we handle reports

We will acknowledge receipt of your report and process it without undue delay. Where content is removed or restricted, we will provide the affected user with a clear statement of the reasons, including the facts relied upon, the legal or contractual basis, and information about available redress.

Appeals

If your content has been removed or your account restricted, you may appeal the decision by contacting appeals@moviehunt.ai within 30 days. We will review the appeal and communicate our decision with reasons. If you remain unsatisfied, you may seek redress through out-of-court dispute settlement bodies or the courts, as described in the Dispute Resolution section below.

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. We maintain a comprehensive Copyright Policy that details our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims, including the formal DMCA notice and counter-notice process.

If you believe content on MovieHunt AI infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure described in our Copyright Policy.

We maintain a repeat infringer policy. Users who are the subject of three or more valid copyright takedown notices will have their accounts permanently terminated.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including content licenses, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.

MovieHunt AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MovieHunt AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of EUR 100 or the amounts you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold MovieHunt AI, its operator (CPHTech), officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your content, including any claims that your content infringes or misappropriates any third-party intellectual property rights, copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity
• Claims that AI tools used to create your content were used in violation of applicable law or those tools' terms of service
• Your violation of these terms

You agree to cooperate fully in the defense of any claim and not to settle any claim that would impose liability on MovieHunt AI without our prior written consent. This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account and removal of your content.

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. For copyright-related claims, the applicable law of the claimant's jurisdiction may apply as required by international copyright treaties.

Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at legal@moviehunt.ai. We ask that you allow at least 30 days for informal resolution before filing any claim.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

We may modify these terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of MovieHunt AI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
